Trading FX and the S&P 500 with Trading Grail

Hello FX traders,

Today was a rough day for trading the EUR/USD using auto-trade. After our first entry, and subsequent loss, we should have had an entry which would have produced a winner. Trading Grail auto-trade did not make an entry; the price was too far from the signal…this is adjustable in the auto-trade settings; there was about a 90 pip movement with the second Trading Grail signal.

After that, the EUR/USD traded in a narrow range and just killed us. We managed to take one winner and four losers.

Hello currency traders,

Last night we missed a nice upward move…Trading Grail auto-trade was set to start at 2:00am–missed it by about 12 minutes.

Our first signal was a short which went against us…a 4 pip loss. Trading Grail signaled again, and we made our take profit goal of 15 pips. I was watching it this time and decided to turn auto-trade off…didn’t want a repeat of yesterday.

Hello FX traders,

Last nights auto-trade was going well until the final minutes of trading. I was away from the work station when this final trade took place. We had a winner for 15 pips; then within minutes of auto-trade shutting down for the night, Trading Grail signaled…we took a loss for the night of 5 pips.

Good morning FX traders,

Last night almost looked like a repeat of the trading on Friday, but we managed to get a winning trade. Trading Grail auto-trade was set to the following parameters: 2:00am to 6:00am with a 15 pip limit, 20 pip stop. Our first Trading Grail signal came just after 3:00am; we hit profit target about 45 minutes later.

After looking at the chart, we decided to take the 15 pips and stop trading for the night; auto-trade was turned off at this point. The Trading Grail auto-trade does have a setting to limit daily maximum profit; it allows you to set your daily win goal and stop trading automatically.

Hello FX traders,

Last night was a losing night for auto-trade. The EUR/USD was trading in a narrow range and never broke out in either direction. We had four losing trades and no winners.

I stated back towards the beginning of this blog that I would show the winners and the losers. Last night was definitely a loser! Trading Grail makes no claims as to finding tops or bottoms…nor does it claim you will win every trade.

Overall we managed 27 pips total for the week with a 15 pip limit, 20 pip stop. This week was nothing to celebrate over, but this is auto-trade… We will continue for at least one more week with the same settings.

Later today, I am going to post my results from trading the S&P Eminis. I can honestly say Trading Grail performance in the Eminis is quite impressive…stay tuned.

Hello FX traders,

Last night we had two losing trades and two winning trades on auto-trade. This week I have Trading Grail auto-trade set with a 15 pip limit. The first Trading Grail signal did have a 37 pip potential. The last winning trade had a potential of 26 pips. We managed a 1 pip gain for the night.

Please note: If our limits were set higher we would have done much better; your strategy will differ from ours. We will continue for the rest of the week with a 15 pip limit.

Hello currency traders,

Last night we only had two trades, one winner one loser. The first trade that Trading Grail signaled, auto-trade never placed order. I have it set so as not to take a trade to far from the signal. At the second Trading Grail signal, we missed profit target by 2 pips; we were shooting for 15–we wound up with a 2 pip loss. Our final signal came as a short and we picked up 15 pips. Auto-trade was set to trade from 1:00am-6:00am.

Good morning FX traders,

We are letting Trading Grail continue to auto-trade. The limit for trading this week has been adjusted to 15 pips, with a 20 pip stop. I’m not sure how we will do overall…last night we had 2 winning trades and two losers for an overall gain of 8 pips. If you look at the last Trading grail signal, there is a potential of 50 pips.

Hopefully we will find the right combination to get this auto-trade to be highly successful.
